Theme- Love

Jane is loved and not loved by her peers. Mr. Rochester is a very loving man towards Ms Jane. He describes the time spent with her as enchanting. They eventually get married technically twice. The first time she finds out that he is already married and cannot be married. The second time they are deeply in love and get married very quickly and not for the same bad reasons. Jane is not loved by Mrs Reed as she "[took] her away to the red-room, and lock[ed] her in there" (pg 7). She does not care for Jane's well being but only for her work around the house.
